Yemen’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the air navigation safety on Thursday at the Sana’a International Airport in the capital to receive humanitarian aid, in an issued statement.
In the statement, the ministry renewed its call to the international community and the United Nations to put pressure for an immediate end of the Saudi American aggression against Yemeni people and lift the air, sea and land blockade imposed for two years. The brutal siege has caused widespread famine among millions of Yemenis.
The ministry also denied propaganda circulated by the Saudi-paid mercenary media about the safety of the Sana’a international airport, which aims to make Yemenis suffer more from the ongoing food shortage and let them starve to death.
The airport is completely ready to receive all humanitarian aid planes, import food and medicine and airlift patients overseas to receive medical treatment,” the ministry reaffirmed.
