FM Visits Russian Embassy in Sana’a

Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf Abdullah paid a visit on Sunday to the headquarters of the Russian Embassy in the capital Sana’a.

During his visit, Sharaf met with Chargé d’affaires of the embassy and discussed with him a number of issues of mutual interests and the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.

The meeting also dealt with the situation in Yemen and the Russian constructive and positive role in bringing peace and lifting the siege on the Yemeni people.

This visit took place to refute the false rumors promoted by a number of TV channels and media of the Saudi aggression regarding the murder of the Russian ambassador.

Sharaf affirmed that the National Salvation Government is capable of carrying its full responsibilities at all levels, including the establishment of security, peace and stability in all Yemeni governorates.
