Saturday May 2, 2015: Daily report of Saudi-led Aggression airstrikes on Yemen
The following are the Saudi-led Aggression airstrikes launched throughout Yemen on Saturday May 2, 2015:
Hudaydah:
- For the first time since Saudi-led Aggression started their air campaign on Yemen, airstrikes target Kamaran Island off the coast of Hudaydah governorate.
Sadah:
- 2 soldiers dead and 5 injured as a results of airstrikes targeting a military site in the Al Amar region in Al-Safra district.
- Airstrikes reported targeting different locations in Sahar district.
- Three airstrikes reported in Al-Ramadiat region, Al-Dhaher district.
- Airstrikes reported targeting the town of Al-Malahid in Al-Dhaher district.
- At least fifteen missiles and mortar shells were reported falling on the falling areas, since this afternoon: Al-Dhaher, Al-Hosamah and Al-Minzalah.
- Al-Sub’ah, a Yemeni region is on the border with Saudi Arabia, faces intensified shelling (ضرب كثير للرشاشات).
- Smoke shells launched on Al-Dhaher.
- Sweep of Al-Hosamah region and flare-grenades on Al-Hosamah and Al-Malahid regions.
- Four airstrikes launched on Manbah district; a district located on the border with Saudi Arabia.
Shabwah:
- Three airstrikes targeted Shugair intersection, which connects Harib and Bayhan district in Shabwah governorate, and reports of injuries.
Sana’a:
- Airstrikes target Maidan Assab’een (Seventy Square) in Sana’a.
Abyan:
- Airstrikes reported targeting the main street in Lowdar district.
Mareb:
- Three airstrikes launched on Hailan after sunset.
