Ansar Allah’s Spokesman, Mohamed Abdulsalam, said the French president’s insistence on continuing to sell arms to Saudi Arabia on the pretext that it is not used against civilians is clear hypocrisy to evade crimes.

In a tweet, he called on France and the countries involved with the alliance of aggression to stop the sale of arms to Riyadh and Abu Dhabi.

French President Emmanuel Macaron said, on Thursday, that “he bears the responsibility of selling French weapons to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates,” which could be deployed in Yemen, stressing his acquisition of “guarantees” that they would not be used against civilians.
