U.S. Senate Votes Ending US Military Support, Participation in Aggression against Yemen

The Republican-led US Senate, on Wednesday, passed a bill ending military support for the Saudi-led coalition in the war against Yemen, which is a break with President Donald Trump’s policy providing unlimited support to the kingdom.
The members voted by 54 votes to 46 in the 100-member council in favor of the law, which seeks to prevent the US military from any kind of involvement in the conflict, including providing support for Saudi airstrikes, in targeting sites in Yemen, without congressional authorization.
The US decision proves beyond doubt the direct US involvement in the aggression against Yemen and the US strategy in support of the coalition of aggression in the war on Yemen four years.
