In Pictures: Millions of Yemenis Celebrate the Birth of the Prophet

The Yemeni capital of Sana’a witnessed on Tuesday the celebration regarding the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet Mohammed (Peace be upon him), which is considered to be the biggest and the largest within the Islamic world, in which the Yemenis renew their loyalty and pledge to the Prophet and his family, despite the fact that the impoverished state has been suffering a Saudi-led war and siege imposed on the Yemeni people.
The 70-square in the capital of Sana’a embraced crowds of millions of people, who came from all the districts of Sana’a and a number of other provinces located near the capital.
The participants affirmed their determination to continue to withstand the Saudi-UAE coalition and to confront it by all means to gain victory for all of those who lost their lives and were bloodshed due to the Saudi brutal crimes; however, the Saudi crimes were most of the times faced with a disregard by the international community that has sold all its values, morals and principles. The participants also stressed that if the world has lost humanity and morals, the Yemeni people are still and will remain its steadfastness and morals, which are the most valuable characteristics that distinguish them from all peoples.
The participants sent varied messages to the inside and out of the country, in which they stated that no matter what circumstances and variables the country will meet, they will never let go of their sovereignty and dignity, pledging to the martyrs and the wounded to continue in their path until the victory and the exile of Saudi-UAE invaders from every inch of the homeland.
In conjunction with the central occasion that was held in the Yemeni capital, other governorates such as Saada, Hodeidah, Dhamar, al-Jawf celebrated the Prophet’s birth (PBUH).
The participants in the mass celebrations held banners that express their love for the prophet and his family, stressing their adherence to the curriculum and teachings and the path of the Prophet’s biography.
The leader of the revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badreddin al-Houthi, affirmed that the Yemeni people are committed to the right of self-defense and the land from the US-backed Saudi aggressive war while pointing out to adhere to freedom and independence on the basis of religious identity.
” We are going through an important and decisive stage. We face an unjust aggression that is targeting out dignity, our identity and our belonging. ” Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badreddin al-Houthi said during his speech that was delivered this afternoon amid the masses of the people celebrated the event.
He pointed out that the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet is an occasion to renew faith, which ”can lead a person to the good and victory, and that is because of the steadfastness after the suffering to reach freedom and liberate from the control of the tyranny and arrogance.”
The leader of the revolution addressed the Yemeni youth saying, “You are the nation’s treasure, and the enemy is targeting your faith, your awareness, your honor and your morals, as well as with their weapons and missiles, be at the level of hope by sticking to your identity and the identity of the Holy Quran”.
He warned the young men and women of all the darkness of the American government and their mercenaries, who are trying to destroy your morals.
Sayyid al-Houthi pointed out that the hypocrisy makes the nation with all its energies and wealth merely an additional power that strengthens America’s control and influence at the global level.
The leader of the revolution condemned all forms of normalization and alliance with the Israeli Zionist, stressing that the Yemeni people will always stand by the Palestinian resistance factions and the Palestinian people in general.
Moreover, he called upon the government to put their efforts to meet the needs of the Yemeni people and confront corruption, while calling on the Yemeni people to relieve on the poor, the needy and to pay zakaah.
