252 US-Backed Coalition Airstrikes Have Bombarded Hodeidah Airport Since 2015

Minister of Transport Zakari al-Shamy on Wednesday said the US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition’s continuing air strikes on Hodeidah airport is a violation to all international agreement and treaties.

Al-Shamy said that the airport was hit by a total of 252 air strikes since March 2015, including 120 airstrikes since the coalition’s assault began on the western coast on July 13.

He said the airport is a civil establishment, holding the coalition countries all responsible for this war crime.

Al-Shamy called the international community and the United Nations to bear their responsibilities to stop the coalition military aggression on Yemen and the Yemeni people.
