Socotra Island Under a Tropical Storm, 17 Missing

A tropical storm flooded several villages and capsized boats on the island of Socotra, leaving at least 17 people missing, which led the country declare a state of emegency, a source said.
Socotra requires immediate aid to help the civlians stranded in their villages or those who reside in the mountains, the source added.
A number of 17 civilians went missing after two boats capsized and three cars were washed away by floods. Another official said more than 200 families had been evacuated from their villages.
